Up for offer is this very rare, Boston Rally Acoustics ported subwoofer bandpass speaker box system with (2) original factory 8 inch Boston Rally subs in it. For a bandpass box (not a sealed enclosure), it sounds absolutely phenomenal and accurate, just as high quality Boston products have always been known to do. The box was put into a hatchback and hooked up to a small Alpine amp for testing and it doesn't take much wattage to move air. Very efficient and sounds great. Very impressed for only being a pair of 8's. Just a very cool piece. Some research out there suggest each sub is capable of 300 watts peak. There is not a lot of literature or history on this rare vintage setup. There is some carpet wear on the corners and some carpet separation around the perimeter of the front (as you can see in the first photo). Please know it is used and quite vintage. The Plexiglas looks great and the subs appear to be mint with no wear, defects or dry rot to the rubber surround, etc. It registers out at 4 ohms and has one speaker terminal input.
