Carver Knight Shadow 10” Subwoofer

This Carver subwoofer was repaired by a local gentleman who has repaired numerous Bob Carver subwoofers—both those under the Sunfire and the Carver company names. The technician upgrades vulnerable capacitors as part of any repair. He then tested this sub for two weeks after repair, and I just retested it. It performs well!
The compact 11” cube Knight Shadow with 10” driver has been compared to the Sunfire Subwoofer Junior. The Junior has a more powerful amplifier, but is limited for acoustic power by its smaller 7” driver. In a hometheaterhifi.com review, this subwoofer performed as if it had double the amplifier power of a True Sub Junior: 108 dB versus 105 dB for the Junior.

The enclosure’s size and shape (single active driver) is similar to Sunfire’s True Sub Architectural.
A new 14 gauge power cord is included. One side of the subwoofer has noticeable scuffs, depending on the angle of the lighting. This will ship double-boxed from the Midwest.
