Up for sale is an original replacement SB16 plate amplifier removed from a working subwoofer. This subwoofer was part of a set that included a sound bar which wireless connected to this plate amp/subwoofer. This listing is for just the plate amp (as pictured). The sub was being parted out due to severe damage that was done to the sound bar. Perfect to repair your SB16 sub or to use as a replacement in other models, or for a custom build. Power output as published by H/K is 100W (RMS). We have no further specs for this driver. General Information Who are we? Founded in 2016, The Speaker Port is a small, independently owned/operated business based in the suburbs of Chicago, IL. I started out in repairing/restoring vintage audio speakers and stereo systems but within the first year, took on both home and professional grade systems (PA systems, guitar amps, etc). I work on all components types (receivers, turntables, tape decks, power amps, etc.), makes and models. I hold a degree in Electrical Engineering but spent the better part of my 25 year professional career in Information Technology. Through it all was a deep love for music and music reproduction. Recently, I have established relationships with a number of music stores and studios servicing their own as well as 3 rd party customer equipment. I now also offer my own line based on reproducing hard to find, vintage parts using 3D CAD design and printing technology. As we continue to growth, I look forward to being able to provide top shelf Customer services and well as products to go with it. Pricing If you have ever sold anything on eBay, you know that for everything you sell, eBay takes a very steep cut from you sale. EBay also takes money from the cost of shipping too. Annual costs associated with eBay’s make it even worse. On top of that, add on the percentage PayPal wants and as a result…you just lost 10-15% of you overall sale price. In order to sell products, you need to price competitively and fairly. In addition, we have families to feed so we cannot afford to lose money or break even. Please consider this when evaluating the price we set. Shipping All paid for items typically ship within 1 business day, however, we have a 5 day handling time in the event that an unforeseen issue comes up that prevents us from being able to ship immediately. Any item we charge shipping costs for are fairly priced based on cost of actual shipping, proper shipping materials and, unfortunately, the fact that eBay takes a large percentage of the shipping cost for themselves...so a mark-up is required for us to cover out costs. We use new boxes and packing when possible and always ensure enough packing and space is considered to ensure safe arrival of the unit. We will never charge ridiculous, overprices shipping charges for any reason.
