Optimus 500 Passive Subwoofer with Dayton Audio SA70 Amplifier
This is a vintage Optimus 500 (40-4055) passive 10" subwoofer. The previous owner removed the speaker level input plate. You can see it the picture where the hole was filled by a piece removed from the side. Where the Dayton Audio SA70 subwoofer amplifier plate was installed. It looks and sound good. Not perfect, but whoever did this, did a pretty good job! There are both RCA and speaker level inputs. Plus pass-thru speaker level outputs. Selectable power switch: off/on/auto and adjustable crossover. The cabinet is in excellent condition with a few scratches and some minor wear. If my research is correct, the subwoofer is 10" with dual voice coils. 8 ohm, 100 watts RMS, 200 watts peak. The amplifier is rated at 45 watts RMS @ 8 ohms & 70 watts RMS @ 4 ohms. - Returns are only accepted if the item does not work as described. Customer will be charged a restocking fee of 20% plus all shipping cost in both directions (yes, that would include actual cost when free shipping was offered.
